On Tuesday, November 8th, another Sister took the pledge to become a full Sister of the Wa Ngao.<\/p>\n

The following is a record of the ceremony;<\/p>\n

11:54] Anisa Nadir reaches into her pouch and pulls forth a clean scroll and prepares it to log this Gathering as she smiles softly

\n[12:00] Felicity Coronet: The Council fire has been lit and We have a matter of importance to discuss for which I seek Council’s guidance
\n[12:01] Felicity Coronet: It is always a special time when a Huntress asks to Pledge Our Tribe, and even more so when They accomplish all that is set out for a Pledge to do.
\n[12:01] Felicity Coronet: Not all make it this far to stand before Council
\n[12:01] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): heart heart flutters as she listens.
\n[12:02] Felicity Coronet: Today Huntress Rave has been called before Council so We might determine Her continued status
\n[12:02] Felicity Coronet nods to Rave and motions for Her to come forward
\n[12:02] Felicity Coronet: Stand before Me Pledge
\n[12:02] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): moves to stan before the En
\n[12:02] Felicity Coronet: Such Councils at this are an important part of Our life as a Tribe Pledge
\n[12:03] Felicity Coronet: Do You have a request to make before Us here today?
\n[12:03] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): I wish to become a sister of this tribe and share their joys and sorrows adding my bow to yours in the hunt and my skill as a healer when it is needed. I wish to live as a Taluna, free of the restrictions that my birth family put upon me because I am a woman and secure that I have sisters who will defend me as I defend them.

\n[12:08] Felicity Coronet: It is Our custom that when a Pledge seeking to become an equal among equals and stand as a Wa Ngao, We ask that the words of the Tribal Pledge be spoken for A\/all to hear

\n[12:08] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): Ai My En
\n[12:08] Felicity Coronet: First, As a Wa Ngao I am true to myself.
\n[12:09] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): I will play my role in the tribe to the best of my ability. I carry my weight in the tribe. Be it slave, Huntress, or En, I am the best I can be.
\n[12:09] Felicity Coronet: Second, As a Wa Ngao I am true to my tribe.
\n[12:09] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): I will never disrespect my tribe. The honor of the Wa Ngao is great and I will never tarnish it willingly or intentionally.
\n[12:09] Felicity Coronet: Third, As a Wa Ngao I will honor my Sisters.
\n[12:09] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): Be them slave, Huntress, or En, I respect them all the same. Roles are stations in life or jobs but the Sisterhood transcends that. I would never do anything intentionally to make my sisters uncomfortable, embarrassed, or dishonored.
\n[12:09] Felicity Coronet: Fourth, As a Wa Ngao I will honor my home
\n[12:09] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): The lands of my home are the homes of my sisters. Our homes are sacred and are respected. Our home provides shelter and sustenance. I will fiercely protect my home.
\n[12:10] Felicity Coronet: Fifth, As a Wa Ngao I will protect my heritage.
\n[12:10] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): Our past builds our future. Our future becomes our past in time. Our heritage reflects our honor on a third dimension.
\n[12:10] Felicity Coronet: Sixth, As a Wa Ngao I will honor Gor.
\n[12:10] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): I understand that what gor means to others is as important to them as it is to me. While I may not share every idea others may have, I respect their rights to theirs. I do not weigh my values above the values of others and will decline to judge.
\n[12:10] Felicity Coronet: Seventh, As a Wa Ngao I will build on the future
\n[12:10] Rave Firelyte (ravanathemean.cobalt): I understand that education is the basis of growth in general and not just personal. I will do my best to project a better understanding of myself, my tribe, my sisterhood, my home, my heritage, and Gor.
