Ame has been dancing in SL Gor since 2007 it’s a strong passion of hers. It is her hope that more FW (and FM) in Gor will embrace this BtB art form and expression of emotion and storytelling. She has participated in RFL of SL since 2008 and dances today in honor of all those who are fighting and those who have lost the battle. It’s her sincerest prayer to see cancer wiped out in her lifetime.

Part of creating an authentic role as a Taluna is the creation and sharing of an interest-catching “backstory”. Such a story adds depth to the role chosen and gives others an opportunity to know your character, and you, better. The tribe gathered at the hunting camp in the southern jungles for a workshop on writing backstories. Sister Ama hosted and shared insight into both the creation of a new story, and the enhancement of an already existing story.

The jungle rain forests of the Schendi region of Gor saw many Taluna from the tribes gather at the hunting camp. The occasion was to share “Back Stories”, those stories which explain how each of us came to be in Gor and the jungles. For some these contained intimate details of circumstances that led us to where we are now.

This afternoon it was my pleasure to attend the Rhythms of the Rainforest – Sounds of the Schendi dance exhibition in the Cote Jungles. Melantha had outdone herself in setting this all up and the jungles were packed standing room only!

Word was sent to all the tribes that a gathering and sharing of a campfire was to take place. In ones and twos, sometimes more, Taluna and their Panther cousins made their way to the camp of the Toki Aka’am Taluna tribe where a great feast had been prepared.

ecently the pride of cat-like gianis, jungle panthers, and larls has been see living in the jungle rain forests of the Schendi region. Sometimes aggressive, these creatures are often tempted to approach for a bit of tarsk or bosk meat.

Taking advantage of the moment as our neighbors in “Lovers of Gor” were rebuilding and it was almost all water this afternoon and made for smooth open sailing! Tremors were felt as new land masses took form shortly after we sailed home.

Varts are large gorean bats and Mel of the Korat has set up a tour that travels between all five lands. You catch the vart by the boathouse in Mists and it does a large loop and drops you off at the outpost of Korat. Come try it out!
