Tribal Business, Adeane and Ayra

Today council was called at noon at the Valley of the Ancients. The business today was to elevate our Sister Adeane to 2nd Bow and our Sister Ayra to Slaver in training. It was a wonderful day with a great turnout. Dancing followed at camp.

Writer’s Workshop – Creating “Backstories”

Part of creating an authentic role as a Taluna is the creation and sharing of an interest-catching “backstory”. Such a story adds depth to the role chosen and gives others an opportunity to know your character, and you, better. The tribe gathered at the hunting camp in the southern jungles for a workshop on writing backstories. Sister Ama hosted and shared insight into both the creation of a new story, and the enhancement of an already existing story.

Amanita Pavlova Joins the Tribe

A request for Tribal Council to gather was made by Huntress Amanita Pavlova of the Sana-Askari Taluna, known to Us as Ama. Her request was granted and Council gathered at the Ruins in the Valley of the Ancients to hear Her request to join Our Tribe.

The Tribe Travels Unnoticed

One of the skills of a Taluna is to scout and be unseen. A test of this ability is to travel to a city and pass amongst the Free unnoticed. It is a skill to be demonstrated by all Pledges as part of Their tasks. Adeane, Kesha, En’ and the kujtioa jazz, travelled to Ko-ro-ba today in support of the Pledge Shadow.

Ahadi becomes a tribal kajira

This afternoon tribal council was calling to bring Claire into the tribe in a permanent collar. Despite her baking skills which she makes up for with her bosk stew, she was renamed Ahadi, which means promise of the future or ahadi ya baadaye.

Karah officially brought into the tribe

Tribal council was called for noon today to bring Karah officially into the tribe. While she is the kajira of our Sister Ame who recently had her entrance ceremony, this was Karah’s own separate ceremony.

Karah Dances at Seasons of Pink

Our very own Karah gave a sparkling performance at the Seasons of Pink on the Isle of Tarns. This was a benefit dance for the prevention and cure of breast cancer and part of this year’s Boob-a-Thon for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Ayra made a full Sister of the Wa Ngao

Shortly after noon today the Wa Ngao had a ceremony to raise Ayra from pledge to a full Sister of the Wa Ngao. She made her pledge before En and the tribe having made it through a vigorous pledge period.
